Close to final pass for Captain Karibdus.
One of the most amazing things about starting a toy line of your own is all the in-between stages of bringing something to life one step at a time. From paper to 3D printer, a TON of work goes into taking an idea from a legend into a reality.
The very first example of all that hard work brought into physical form was this TEST PRINT of Captain Algol Deathmoid. This copy was done to calibrate the machine and get it ready for the final print. As such, this example is at a lower resolution than that of the final paint master.
This means you can see all the layers that it takes to build an item like this up into its final form.
We thought it very poetic that Deathmoid was formed out of water and sheer nothingness since those are exactly his origins.

Kezia "Golddigger" Kapstan character concept teaser.
Kezia is a HUGE player within the Tide-Realms and one of the most pivotal characters within the story. She is particularly special as she holds the most developmental influence from my wife and co-creator, Abigail.
Kezia has just as much story content to rival our main captains. Keep an eye out as the secrets of her full story continue to be revealed as we get closer to the Kickstarter.
Here is a brief summary of her bio:
Kezia Kapstan is a firebrand with a love for gold and a knack for finding it. Whether it’s buried treasure or the hidden wealth of a plundered vessel, Known across the Tide-Realm Isles as Golddigger, Kapstan is relentless in her pursuit of riches. Yet, beneath her brazen exterior lies a cunning strategist who understands that wealth isn’t just about coins—it’s about power. Kapstan shares Mourningstar’s desire to change the status quo, but her definition of "honor among thieves" leans more toward personal gain than lofty ideals. Still, her sharp instincts and fearless demeanor make her an invaluable asset to the crew.
Born to wandering gypsies on Hipokampus Island, Kezia’s early life was steeped in mystery. Her family was absorbed into a tribe touched by supernatural forces—keepers of ancient maps and whisperers of the Tide-Realm’s lingering magic. Her parents, obsessed with unlocking forbidden knowledge, stole a sacred scroll and opened a portal to a realm of water and shadow.
There, they were offered salvation by a formless voice—but at a cost: their daughter. Kezia was surrendered, her memory wiped, and raised by the long dormant and ethereal Sea Witch of the Isles. In a hut of bones and seaweed, she became the Witch’s apprentice, learning the secrets of arcane tides and forgotten relics. But the hunger for truth never faded.
Years later, she stole the same map her parents had once taken, reopened the portal, and escaped to the surface world. Alone, unanchored, and haunted by fragments of a stolen past, Kezia turned to piracy—not for glory, but for distraction.
