Avast, Corsairs!
The first factory check models have arrived, and we're excited to finally share some physical progress photos with you.
These samples are the first step in our review process, allowing us to test sculpt detail, articulation, part compatibility, grip tolerances, and overall functionality before steel tooling begins.
Backers may notice certain parts appearing on characters where they don't belong. This is perfectly normal at this stage. The factory team does not yet have the same familiarity with the figures' assembly anatomy as we do, so some components have been attached incorrectly for photography and testing purposes. These pieces will be organized into their proper configurations once we're able to review and assemble them in-house.
We're especially happy to report that the factory has preserved sculpt detail beautifully, and we've already identified several additional refinements that are being implemented for the next round of check models.
Some of the improvements currently being refined include:
☠️ Double-ball neck joints
☠️ Expanded torso articulation
☠️ Improved hip engineering
☠️ Refined weapon grip tolerances
☠️ Perfected belt clasp fit
☠️ Fully realized peg leg compatibility
Progress is moving smoothly, and we're looking forward to getting these samples into our hands for a full review before authorizing steel tooling.

We still have Crew Builder prototypes on the way, along with updates on the remaining figures in the inaugural wave!
